How time flies!!

It has been so long since I posted.  So I will share a few pictures.

The pink and green is a gift to a nice lady at my church for her Grand-daughter.

The middle photo is of some scarves that I am doing for charity.

The last photo is of a baby blanket done for my neighbor's little boy, Liam.  I just love that name.

I hope to have more to post by mid week.

I have found lots of  places that can use scarves, hats, and mittens.  I might actually give mittens a try this year.

Yes, I am still doing shawls.  I am getting ready to work on up.

More on that later.

God Bless and have a wonderful Sunday.

New ripple blanket

My supervisor at work is going to have a baby this summer.  So I had to get my hook going.

She picked out these three colors:

These are from Caron Simply Soft.  I added white and started a ripple.

You can find the pattern for the ripple here:

I love this pattern.  It is very easy to follow and makes a great looking blanket.

Stay tuned for updates!!

I'm a winner!!

My goodness!!  I never win anything.  But I found this today.

Please follow this link to Victorian Motto Sampler Shop.  Her stuff is gorgeous.  Please also visit her EBay shop here:

I have a Quaker pattern just waiting for the floss to come.  LOL

I told her that I didn't care what colors.  So I can't wait to see what I get.  I love all the colors.

I will get pictures of my project I am working on soon and pictures of the floss that I won.

Go down the list and find the pattern named "Canon"

The above link is for the pattern that I just started.  I am using DMC 817 since I had tons of it.  No sense in putting in a picture of my start as you can't really tell what it is yet.

God Bless and have a wonderful weekend.

Hello 2013

Can you believe it is 2013??

Here are some updates from Christmas.

My Dad's scarf:

The photo isn't as nice as I would like it.  It is really pretty when you see it live.

Tim's scarf:

Didn't think I would like working with 100% wool.  It actually was nice.  I did not break out in a rash either.

Anne's scarf:

This also is kind of faded looking.  It is very jewel looking live.

I hope to have a picture of my new project tomorrow.

Have a great day.

The finishes keep coming!

Here is the scarf that I made my Mom for Christmas.

You never know what you will find in clearance.  I got this yarn for 2.88 a skein.  Love it.  It is called Berries.

Have a great day!
